After writing this post, I made more reading about the incident and I think it is hard to pinpoint the victim. Even subtracting husband from the equation, apparently Tarja had her issues related how things were in the band. For the rest, I completely agree with you. I quite like the flavor Annette brings to the mix. Now that band seems readjusted to vocalist change quite nicely, I believe next album will be somewhat better. Annette answered questions about next album of NW in her blog, so I wouldn't expect anything before 2012.

Tarja was THE best voice of Nightwish. That a**hole husband was the main influence that was the definite cause of the split. If they would have never met, maybe those things would never happened. On the other hand, maybe it was time for a new vocalist. Anette brings a whole new sound and era to night. I enjoyed the whole DPP album. Especially Master Passion Greed and Bye Bye Beautiful. I hope the come out with a new album soon.

Yes, I'm using 2.5 and I love the idea of social media browser so far. But they are not where they should be yet. I'm using Flock's integrated RSS reader for some time and it cannot be a capable alternative to Google Reader yet. They have a wonderful Facebook integration, making facebook something more functional than it usually is. But like I said, FB is not my thing.
I guess, I'll go back to gwibber in the meantime while Flock continue to evolve.

Another Flocker! Woohoo!

Anyway, I've been pushing for identi.ca and friendfeed integration. I use gwibber for my social media stuff (that's not facebook anyway) more than Flock. (Sorry, Flock; gwibber is better for twitter/identi.ca/friendfeed/etc).

I love the fact that you can use firefox addons (I can't live without flashblock and adblock plus).

Glad to hear you're liking Flock. Are you using the 2.5 version? :)

Thank you for your advices Amy. Ping.fm is an awesome web-based service, covers a great range of networks. Updating is not primary problem, actually. But the following the "friends" updates is. I'm looking for a desktop application that will enable me to use both twitter and identi.ca with full functionality, meaning it will let me do everything without opening a browser. This way, I won't be lured to spend more time on browser, to check once more before closing whether there is any update. That was my plan, at least :D

Oh wow...just wow. Gotta be careful what one wishes for :D I didn't know this project. You couldn't be more right, indeed, I have extremely mixed feelings, love it and hate it at the same time, but greatly impressed nevertheless. E-mail and instant messenger merged together with real time collaborative editing and ... lots of other stuff. Open source, too.

I have a silver bullet solution for you.

You aren't gonna like it.

"It would be lovely to see a conversation among there or more people in a threaded way or something."

Google wave.
http://wave.google.com/ if you haven't seen it yet.

I love and hate it so much at the same time.

I really like your points.

Might I suggest using ping.fm to update all your social networks? It works for me, and allows me to have a low amount of noise and cross-posting. There's a pingfire firefox/flock extension to update. It also has an IM feature (for gtalk and aim and the like) as well as a post by email option that you can use with your mobile phone.

Gwibber is all sorts of awesome. I love the way it integrates all of your social media together (with the exception of Plurk; that one is strange, with no API). Also, if you're on Windows, I recommend Seesmic Desktop. It runs on adobe AIR, so it will work on Linux, but it's kind of... ugly(?). And AIR is kinda buggy.

You could also set up a page on your iGoogle page to manage it all, but it requires you to have it all in the browser, and I know how that doesn't always work.

Unfortunately, I don't have a "silver bullet" solution for you. I wish I did.

Good for Norway, they get their well deserved victory. I was expecting Bosnia to be under-appreciated,but #9 is not bad. Iceland is a surprise to me, though. Personally I find the song boring.
